Solution
BMPL recommended the vanilla setup of the Purchasing and the Fixed assets modules. Cash management was customized to upload the Bank statements downloaded from the Net banking accounts of various banks.

Project Methodology
The Purchasing module was configured keeping in mind the multiple divisions’ approval hierarchy that culminated in a common approver at the top of the hierarchy. The module was configured to integrate with the payables and the fixed assets since most of the purchases were capital expenses.
BMPL assisted AFL in mapping the assets to the various asset categories within oracle.
The Cash management module was very critical for the customer. Being a logistics company that has multiple cash transactions at the collection points, the challenge was to reconcile a single bank statement entry with multiple cash receipts. BMPL provide the solution to address this requirement and streamline the Cash management process at AFL.
