Business Drivers
The customer uses an alternate ERP solution for their worldwide operations. When they evaluated this solution for their needs in India vis-à-vis the Oracle EBS, customer realized the value offered by Oracle in terms of the rich functionality as well as the flexibility Oracle offers in term of configuration and extensibility.
Solution
Bazaar247 was engaged to carry out the preliminary analysis and come out with an end-to-end recommendation on the suitable solution.
Based on the discussions with the core users, Bazaar247 suggested the Implementation of Oracle Applications 12.1.3 for the customer.
The Implementation was on Oracle Enterprise Linux (6.4).
Project Methodology
The Process requirement was provided by the customer and BMPL carried out the process mapping on Oracle EBS. The Master data pertaining to the customers brand, vendors and customers, formula were provided by the customer.
The Financials, SCM modules were configured on the test instance. The customer’s users tested the setup and transactions.
Upon sign-off, BMPL setup the production instance. Post go-live, the customer provided the Open transactions data and the same was uploaded.
The entire project was implemented within a short span of 16 weeks.
Solution Impact
- The customer was able to go-live on Oracle within a month of the brand launch and now all their processes and transactions are being carried out in Oracle EBS.
